Hi Loves!!

Today I thought I would give you an in depth review of a LOOOOONG wearing foundation and concealer since summer is here and long wear is essential when it’s hot and melty out! I bought the Kat Von D Lock-it Tattoo Foundation and Concealer in January and I have to be honest I haven’t worn it more than half a dozen times. I prefer dewy natural finishes when it comes to foundation.

The foundation is very creamy and thick and a little bit really does go a long way but you definitely have to work at blending this to get a more natural and less heavy look. I use a bit of Urban Decay’s Dew me moisturizing setting spray and then buff again into my skin.

This product works best when applied by brush or sponge because I found the coverage was too thick when applied with my fingers. It covers redness and blemishes extremely easily with very little work and no need for a second application. I find that covering dark circle or spots is not really the concealer’s strong suit. I wasn’t happy with the coverage and brightening it gave at all. I prefer the foundation to the concealer hands down but I know many people LOVE the concealer, for some reason, it just doesn’t work for me and trust me I have tried!

Here is a before and after picture You can see it offers great coverage and this is only a single layer and single pump of foundation.

Wishing you flawless skin,

Dianna :)

Still loving this mascara folks, it’s super light weight, doesn’t budge and washes away as well as most of mascaras.

If you want to see me demo and fully review this new gel-mousse mascara check out my video on it.

As a preggie Momma of a 2.5 year old I too am just like you and get stuck in hair style ruts. My current hair cut has been less than satisfactory since the very first time I washed it and I happen to be quite good at blowing out hair and styling in general. This cut has made my hair unruly and ruined it’s recently found ability to dry naturally without being a frizz ball of oddly shaped mess…So a new cut is definitely on the cards for me since I feel like my hair just never looks pretty anymore even after an hour of styling…

Also on the change front is color. I am long overdue for a color (hello grey hair, how you doing?!) I want to go soft black (with a semi-perm as always because I like the way it fades naturally and then I don’t end up with witchy black ends) and then go dark purple ombre on the ends. I have always LOVED color in the hair so why not go all out and have a little fun this fall?

What do you guys think of the Ombre trend? Is it totally over?

Is colored ombre the new big trend for fall?

What do you think it totally hot in hair trends for fall?

I’m waiting to hear your opinions <3 hugs and happy hairstyles,

Dianna xo

Hi Darlings,

I’m not going to lie, it’s been a rough few weeks…I feel like I’ve had a lot of those lately. Having a 2.5 year old and no family or anyone to help out while being 22 weeks pregnant has been tough. I am finding it challenging to get quality videos to you guys and often end up having to chuck videos I spent time recording due to lighting issues or noise from my little man. I’ve also been quite tired and sick still from the pregnancy.

Many people are fortunate to have a family member or friend to help out so they can get things done or maybe even go out of a date but we mostly operate as an island, just my husband and I. I am so lucky that he works from home but he does work very hard and long hours.

I want to apologize if you noticed my absence and know I am always thinking about you guys and trying my absolute best to make things happen!

In the meantime I hope you have entered my beautigasm nail polish giveaway which ends tomorrow. You can enter on twitter and my fb page and as a comment to the video as well to increase you chances!

Super grateful for your support and sending you guys hugs,

Dianna

You know that excited feeling you get when you try a product and you just know you have found a keeper? I got that the first time I tried the L’Oreal Visible Lift Repair Absolute Cream Compact :) It glided onto my skin without looking thick or cakey, it looked natural with great coverage and had the dewy finish I am always looking for.

My CHANEL Vitalumier Aqua hasn’t seen the light of day since I got this product to review at the Women of Worth Event in NYC. It makes my make up routine super fast because of it’s ease of application and has SPF 16 to boot. Not to mention it’s an anti-aging product so it’s treating and improving my skin while I conceal my imperfections-FABULOUS! I also LOVE that I can tap a little extra on my blemishes eliminating the need for concealer (though I still use under eye concealer to brighten my tired preggie eyes lol).

If you haven’t tried it and tend to like dewy, moisturizing foundations I totally recommend this for you. If you have oily skin or oily spots you should use a primer esp, in the summer but then again that goes for most foundations :)

Enjoy my demo and review video and let me know what you think if you try this product

To comfortable, delicious skin,

Dianna xo

I recently came across this on Amazon.com and it gave me quite the shock! I am pretty sure/seriously hoping this was just a typo!

What is the max you would spend on a hair product? What about skincare and make-up?

Wishing you fabulous sales on your favorite products,

Dianna

I am a fan of guyliner as much as the next gal that has ever had a thing for Johnny Depp but Adam Lambert takes it a bit too far over and over again.

I still chuckle when I think of Giuliana Rancic on fashion police saying about Adam Lambert, “He looks like he just sold me a lipstick at the MAC counter.” haha

His latest look is taking the whole big brows are in to a while new level. I think if he did this same look without the crazy brows and the eh, interestingly evil facial hair, this look would work.

What I love about it? The way the MUA used green to accentuate the beautiful green color of Adam’s eyes.

That’s just my opinion though, What do you guys think?

So today was the not the first time I came upon an article all about celebrity airbrushing and the sins of Photoshop.

Many people believe that airbrushing is a sin against humanity and mainly against women young and old, not so young. It emphasizes society’s expectations of too thin, forever young, and perfection, perfection, perfection which is (as you know already or will discover eventually)impossible.

I agree to some extent but I am not 100% against it. I think if a picture is unrecognizable or if you are taking 10-30 pounds or 10-30 years off a celebrity or model whatever, it really isn’t adjusting a picture, it’s painting a new one.

What do you guys think? Is it a sin against humanity or should people just get over it?

Here is the article for your perusal.

Sending you guys hugs from my un-airbrushed arms that have seen better days, :o)

Hi Loves!

Just a quick post about my current haircare routine since many of you have asked about what I use. My haircare routine is constantly changing especially when it comes to Shampoo and Conditioner. One thing always stays constant though my It’s a 10 Miracle Leave in Product. I absolutely LOVE this stuff and have repurchased it again and again.

It is supposed to do the following 10 things:

1. Repairs dry, damaged hair.

2. Adds shine.

3. Smooths and controls frizz.

4. Seals and protects hair color.

5. Detangles.

6. Prevents split ends.

7. Stops hair breakage.

8. Creates silkiness.

9. Enhances natural body.

10. Thermal protector.

I have to agree that is does all of these things without weighing down my hair. I have medium course hair that is naturally curly/wavy. Usually I have tons of frizz but this product really tames my hair and keeps me in control of my locks!

In January I purchased their Shampoo and Conditioner for the first time. I do really like it and when I blow out my hair it looks great but I am not sure I would repurchase again. I am still deciding…I have no complaints, I am just not sure it wowed me for the price which I believe is about 23$ a bottle (but I got mine for just over 16$ each). Until I decide, it is giving me smooth controllable locks and I am grateful for that!

I also use my Moroccan Oil about once a week. I would use it more but I feel like my curls and blow outs in general last longer when I don’t use it and I try to shampoo every 2-3 days if I can make it to keep my long hair from being too dry.

My usual hair styling routine is: I blow out my hair 2x a week with a medium round brush in sections on 90% dry hair. 1x a week I do a soft side braid to avoid over heating/styling my hair. Then on the occasion I use my flatiron to curl my hair or my hot rollers for volume. I used to use velcro rollers all the time (I even have a video on how to use them if you are interested) but my velcro rollers are in storage with most of our stuff right now…I can’t wait until we find a house and we can get our stuff back-that is a whole other story for another time though!!

I have a new arsenal of hair products to try soon so I will of course review them for you guys once I get a feel for their results!

Wishing you manageable hair and hairgasms,
Dianna
